June 27, 2007, Gippsland.
After torrential rains out of the ordinary takes place a terrible flood. Gippsland Lakes , are a bright green color like never before seen ... find that analysis is due to Synechococcus grown in water, nitrogen advantage of organic matter and high salinity of the lake due to flooding.
Then comes the summer of 2008, and Synechococcus population begins to decline, being replaced by their new predators, Noctilluca scintillans, and this dinoflagellate is, for many, the king of bioluminescence.
This is the story of this photograph (resumed), based on the author's own description of photography Phil Hart .
To tell the story related to these areas giant cells from the bottom of the picture would need much more time.
Anyway I think with this image before you can tell many more stories, I particularly given the exposure that has been given to appreciate the Earth's rotation, I see in her a huge population of Noctiluca traveling the space on a wet rock, in a scenario that also looks a lot like them. You
